In the case of an immediate emergency when you need someone to come, call 911 or BC Wildfire *5555
After that use the Sakinaw Emergency Network WhatsApp (SEN) to call for help. It’s just another way of communicating that there is a urgent problem and providing location, type of emergency, etc.

Air Horn alerts
- Everyone should have a horn, available at Canadian Tire, etc.
- 3 x 2-3 second blasts on an air horn is the traditional method of alerting Sakinaw neighbours that there is an urgent situation on the lake, typically near the horn blast but not always.
